The guys manning the cable cars are super friendly and have a lot of fun - chirping the people waiting telling them that the car is full and are most obliging when asked of a place to get off at.
The places we have been to are pretty clean and have lots of plants which are starting to flower - -many the same as what we have back home.
We have had wonderful weather. The climate here at present is similar to being in the berg - lovely and warm in the sun, but cool and needing a jacket in the shade. The evenings are cold and definitely require a jacket. The wind makes it really cold and gets to your bones.
There are a few loud people, especially in confined spaces, but overall the Americans are great and this country is certainly one I would not hesitate to come back to for another visit - sooner rather than later, so I have some serious saving to do.
I am doing this while I wait for Dereck to get my Starbucks hot chocolate and something to eat for breakfast at 10:05am.
USA fan signing off ....

Hi, it's Linda M here. What a totally glorious holiday you are having - I can't believe how much you have fitted into the time so far - and there's still so much more to come! Really enjoying catching up on your blog - you ought to become a scribe as you excel at it, Michelle - we all feel like we're there with you. Thanks so much for the Easter office surprise - what a lovely thought and so appreciated. Continue to have a fantastic experience. Sure L can't wait until you hit the British shores:)
I can see there's an American green card coming up soon. Interesting to hear about how friendly the American citizens are. About the loudness, I have always heard that they could be a bit loud. Very jealous that you get a comment from LM ... poor Doing Life is definitely not making any impression ... just teasing hey. Hope you enjoyed that yummy hot chocolate. Hugs from Desire
